This coat has been sold. It is sewn in silk. I used three different coordinating brocades as the trim. There are metal findings on the gull wing cuffs as well as the center back. The inside is lined in a complimentary fabric. The buttons are silver and gold to pick up the subtle metallics in the brocade and eighteen yards of trim.
It is proportioned for a petite size woman. Five foot three or there abouts. The waist on the coat is 31 inches and the shoulders are relatively broad.
There are some wonderful details on this coat that make it a truly remarkable piece. The side view is great. The fan of the applique's on the sleeve fan up and become mirrored in the back detailing.
