Closed at the neck, falling away at the front, longer in the back. This coat is handsomely pleated and sporting an impressive array of trims. Black, silver and muted gray. Unlined, sewn in rugged black denim. Handy pockets.

Measurements are as follows.
Back width. (does not include width of sleeves) = 18 1/2 inches
Back length. Back of neck to waist = 21 1/2 inches
Sleeve length. Top of shoulder to wrist =25 1/4 inches
Chest. Open so there is a lot of wiggle room, It would comfortably fit from a 45 to a 55 inch chest.
The waist hardly matters since it does not close at the waist.
The measurement to pay attention to is the neck measurement. With the clasp at the neck closed it ends up being a 23 circumference.
